STMs Velo laptop bags were deceptively spacious, and the revised Velo2 is no different. It has enough room for a 13in laptop and a tablet, and thats just the start. There are pockets everywhere, with room for pretty much anything you could need for the morning commute.
The laptop compartment unzips from the side, letting you slip a laptop in and out without having to open the main compartment. This is useful, as the zips and fiddly plastic clips that keep the main compartment secure arent the easiest things to open in a hurry.
A padded pocket for your sunglasses and a zip-up pocket on either side of the bag are the easiest compartments to get in to, but the inner pockets are separated into sections to make it easier to keep your kit in order.
The strap is reasonably well padded, so we could carry a full bags worth of equipment without feeling the strain.
Messenger bags arent for everyone. Many will prefer a briefcase or laptop bag for a more professional look, or possibly a rucksack for extra comfort, but for everyone else the Velo 2 is an ideal everyday bag for work or leisure.
